New Podcast "Plot Twist Anonymous"

Centers Survivor Voices in Unfiltered Conversations About Trauma and Recovery

“We’re not avoiding the uncomfortable conversations...”
— Gray

Plot Twist Anonymous: A Healing Heathens Production, a new podcast hosted by survivor leader and anti-trafficking professional Lindsey Gray, launches in January 2026 with a mission to amplify authentic survivor perspectives through unscripted, vulnerable conversations.

Unlike clinical or sensationalized approaches to trauma recovery, Plot Twist Anonymous recreates the intimate dynamic of recovery group roundtables, addressing topics often absent from mainstream dialogue: spiritual trauma, male survivors, the role of dark humor in healing, and the complex reality of co-occurring disorders.

"Survivors know what survivors need, but our voices are rarely centered as the primary authority," says Gray, Regional Operations Coordinator for a national anti-trafficking organization and certified mental health professional.

“This podcast creates space for the messy, honest, sometimes hilarious conversations that happen behind closed doors in recovery communities—and brings them to a wider audience that needs to hear them.”
— Gray

Gray brings over a decade of experience in emergency medicine, behavioral health, and survivor advocacy, combined with her own 17-year recovery journey from anorexia nervosa, menatal health issues, cPTSD, and a chronic pain condition. Her professional background includes roles as Director of Coaching for a teen mental health program, where she guided over 200 teens and families toward resilience and healing, and as an Inpatient Behavioral Therapist working with youth in maximum security state mental health facilities. Her experience as an EMT FTO, provided experience working alongside law enforcement and handling high stakes, high stress environments; while her work as managing a safe house for young mothers demonstrated her commitment to supporting young women transitioning through life’s most difficult adversities.

The show features guests who bring diverse perspectives on healing. Season 1 confirmed guests include Amber Love (Amber Love Ministries), law graduate and anti-trafficking advocate Lauren Fuhrmann, motivational speaker Amberly Lago (True Grit & Grace), Rhona Mahl (CEO Braking Cycles), Jennifer Hooper (Survivor and OSINT specialist), Chrissy (Advocate and anti-trafficking specialist), Isaiah Adams (Founder Anchors Outdoor Adventures), Alia Azariah (Leading Survivor Expert & 25-26 Obama USA Leader ), and Amanda Pulley (Survivor and Education Expert) with more to be announced soon.

“We’re not avoiding the uncomfortable conversations,” Gray explains. “We’re leaning into them—talking about faith deconstruction, male accountability, neurodivergence, the systems that fail survivors, and how dark humor becomes a survival tool. These are the topics that need more visibility.”

Episodes will be released beginning in late January 2026, available on all major podcast platforms including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and YouTube.
